Tami Damini

Tamara (Tami) Damini works full-time as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant (VRC) for Meridian Rehabilitation Consulting Inc., an interdisciplinary rehabilitation company in private practice. With a background in Social Work, her role as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant makes her a strong advocate for the clients’ unique needs while navigating the requirements of the funder. She in the only Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant within her company and enjoys collaborating with others in the VRC field.

As a Vocational Rehabilitation Ms. Damini supports and assists individuals in determining post-injury alternate occupations though use of vocational assessments, transfer of skills analysis, vocational counselling, and various services including work preparation programs, work simulation programs, career exploration and supported job search services. She is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP), Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP), is a member in good standing with the Vocational Rehabilitation (VRA) and College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals (CVRP), and currently working towards her Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator (CCVE) designation. Ms. Damini is a member of the Canadian Assessment, Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment Society (CAVEWAS) and has recently joined the Board of Directors.

Jennifer Griffiths

Jennifer Griffiths holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario and a Master’s in Counselling from Canisius College. With over 30 years of experience in vocational rehabilitation, she has specialized in vocational assessment, work adjustment, and career planning. Her roles have included Manager in Service Delivery and Work Transition, Psychometrist, Vocational Evaluator, and Trainer. She is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional and holds several designations, including RVP, RRP, CVRP, CCVE, and ICVE, and is a member of the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals.

Currently, Jennifer works as a Psychometrist, Forensic Vocational Evaluator, and Training and Recruiting Facilitator. She has served on the Board of Directors of CAVEWAS since 2015, including a term as President, presently in the Past-President role, and has contributed to professional education and publications in the field. Jennifer also teaches at Simon Fraser University and has been designated an Expert Witness by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Kirstin Regan

Kristin is a certified vocational rehabilitation professional (CVRP – TSA, RTWDM) and professional member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA). She holds an undergraduate degree in economics, and a Master’s degree focused on engagement, learning, and leadership. She has over ten years of experience in delivering a wide array of vocational services, including assessments, career counselling, employment/employer services, and vocational interventions to multi-barriered individuals. Kristin’s experience includes working with individuals of all ages in areas of employment, education, mental health, family dynamics, and addiction.

Laura Kovacs

Laura Kovacs received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Honours in Leadership and Contemporary Studies with a stream in the International Development from Wilfred Laurier University in 2013. Since, she found her way to the field of vocational rehabilitation through her work experience in supported employment by assisting people with job placement and appropriate workplace accommodations. Within the last 5 years, Laura has worked with Canadian Veterans as a Transferable Skills Assessor, Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, and Rehabilitation Service Professional; completing Employability and Earning Capacity Assessments, Transferable Skills Analyses, Vocational Rehabilitation Plans, Initial Vocational Assessments, and Vocational Evaluations. Her passion for assisting others shines through in her daily work and commitment to the field of vocational rehabilitation. She has her CVRP-TSA and CCVE/ICVE credentials and looks forward to the continually developing her skills in vocational evaluation and to mentoring others who are new in the field.

Paul Holtby

Paul Holtby works full-time as a Vocational Evaluator, with over 30 years experience in this capacity. Most of his work is with motor vehicle accident claimants, but he has vast experience with working with lawyers from various specialties, WSIB, Veterans Affairs, and LTD companies. He works as a consultant to various medical/vocational assessment and vocational rehabilitation organizations. Mr. Holtby supports and assists individuals in determining post-injury alternative occupations though use of vocational assessments, transfer of skills analysis, vocational counselling, and career exploration.
He has lengthy serving as a volunteer on the CAVEWAS board of Directors, as well as the VRA Canada board. He is a Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE), Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluation (CCVE), International Certified Vocational Evaluator (ICVE), Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP), Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP), and Certified Valpar Operator CVO).

Jenn Kengis

Jenn Kengis brings over a decade of experience in the field of vocational rehabilitation, specializing in supporting diverse populations, including injured workers, Veterans, and individuals on long-term disability (LTD).

Throughout her career, Jenn has provided comprehensive vocational rehabilitation services, including career counseling, job search support, Transferable Skills Analysis, Vocational Evaluation, and Psycho-vocational Assessments. Currently working as a Vocational Senior Manager at Lifemark, Jenn supports the delivery of vocational services, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients. Her work is dedicated to helping individuals identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and achieve meaningful employment opportunities.

Jenn holds designations as a Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP), Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP), Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator (CCVE), and International Certified Vocational Evaluator (ICVE).
