<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>Participants are being recruited for a research project</p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>This is a reminder that participants are still being recruited for a research project titled “A Delphi study to build consensus regarding the definitions of career assessment and vocational evaluation.”</p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>The purpose of the project is to update the Glossary of Terminology for Vocational Assessment, Evaluation, and Work Adjustment (Dowd, 1993) and to gain some level of consensus among experts regarding key terms in the field. </p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>Participants will be asked to provide their opinions regarding definition of key terms in career assessment and vocational evaluation. Participants will complete three rounds of online, asynchronous surveys via Qualtrics. Each survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and surveys will be released for review over several months. Participants will rate their agreement with a series of statements and be invited to provide qualitative comments in each round. </p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>For potential inclusion in this study, participants will be required to:</p>

<ul style=”font-weight: 400;”>
(1) Hold a professional credential related to career assessment (For example Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE); International Certified Vocational Evaluator (ICVE); Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) who practices career assessment, Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE) or other related credential)
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>AND</p>
<ul style=”font-weight: 400;”>
(2) have practiced career assessment and/or vocational evaluation within the past five years OR have other significant involvement in career assessment (e.g., teaching, training, professional leadership).
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”> The project is being conducted by Amanda McCarthy, Ed.,D., CRC, CVE, LCPC (IL) Associate Professor in the School of Interdisciplinary Health Professions at Northern Illinois University.</p>
