Hi all…I have had a request for career counselling services for a recent university graduate of a media studies program (Ontario). Does anyone have any referrals for this work?

    Hi Marcus,

I don’t have a specific service to recommend but I wonder why a recent graduate couldn’t access free counseling service from their university? Alternatively, they may qualify for free agency-delivered career counseling services, as there are many organizations offering such services, such as JVS (https://www.jvstoronto.org/find-a-job/career-exploration-services/). Another way would be to contact 211 to locate the appropriate service. As a last resort, they may wish to go for fee for service. Let us know what you find!

Thanks for the reply, Francois. Yes, this individual is aware of his school’s career counselling supports (and the program coordinator and co-op placement advisor, t00) and would likely also be amenable to community-based services as well. However, he and his family are looking for more individualized services from a fee-for-service personal coach. This is what has happened now and I hope it is a good fit! Thanks for your thoughts on this. Good info!

    Hi Marcus

One of my former boxers went to Carleton and got her undergrad in mass communications.  She is also looking and may have some resources to share.  Happy to put you in touch if it would help at this point.  Feel free to reach out Peter@campbellvocational.ca.
