Hello! I would love some thoughts on this. I am trying to determine a worker qualification profile for a Participant. One of their jobs was a 6 months temporary position for the Military Transition Center. This is the job description: https://www.cscvanier.com/assets/uploads/Transitions-Coordinator-Job-Posting—October-2017.pdf

From the job description, it seems like it’s NOC 4212 – Social and community service workers. However, the participant does not match the education requirement of both the NOC and the job posting. They were offered the position from within on a temporary basis. The participant did engage in the majority of the tasks listed. He left the role after the 6 months period/contract ended.

Would you give them the full merit of NOC 4212 (given that they do not have the education requirements and they only did the job for 6 months – we have no information on how they performed on the job).

Some background – the participant has a highschool diploma and technical college education (apprenticeship).

    Hello Manel,

I would say that if this person lacks the education and has only 6 months work experience, they don’t meet the qualifications profile for this occupation. The O*NET assign an SVP of 7-8 for this occupation, so much longer than 6 months.
